Mechatronic
design is a recent extension of the Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing
group's activities and these are aimed at establishing design procedures
and tools to assist engineers in optimally integrating mechatronic
design philosophies in their products for enhanced product flexibility
and reduced life cycle cost.
