M&M kicks off contact sessions with Practical in the Workshop
Our students seem happy to be back and busy with their first contact session since the onset of the pandemic. A much smaller than usual group of Second Year Mechanical & Mechatronic, Process and Industrial students are doing their compulsory Practical in the Workshop while adhering to strict Covid prevention protocols.
During training, students are given the basic work knowledge required for the production of engineering products. They practice welding, milling, turning and sheet metal work for the construction, function and application of different tools, equipment, machines as well as technique of manufacturing a product from its raw material.
The workshop practical allows our students to observe the practical adherence to Workshop Health and Safety guidance, enforced by the competent and supportive team of M&M technical staff.
